Range of tinted mirrors is extended.

After recent production issues in the area of tinted glass production, from which tinted mirror is ultimately produced, we have now secured a reliable supply from a major european distributer. The full range of mirrors now on offer is regular silver mirror, bronze mirror, grey mirror, peach mirror, blue mirror, gold mirror and antique mirror.

New samples are available from our trade counter.

Guardian glass covers the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

The new year marked the official opening of the Burj Khalifa (formerly Burj Dubai) in the United Arab Emirates – the world’s tallest building at 800 meters or 2,650 feet high. The building features more than 1.8 million square feet (174,000 square meters) of Guardian SunGuard Solar Silver 20 and Guardian ClimaGuard NLT Low-E. A new adjacent residential project features Guardian glass as well.

Guardian glass is a major supplier to Wholesale Glass. Guardian Low-E glass is featured in our high performance IGU’s.

SGG Swisspacer Introduces new Swisspacer V warm edge bar.

Lower heating costs through better insulation: the thermally improved spacer SGG SWISSPACER V excels with an optimised heat transfer resistance. The heat transmission coefficient is at least 0.1 W/m2K lower than that of conventional aluminium spacer bars. Even reductions of up to 0.3W/m2 K can be attained. The result: the high tech spacer bar SGG SWISSPACER V enables heating costs to be reduced by up to 5%. That's easy on the wallet, and with reduced CO2 emissions, also on the environment.

Due to the superior isolation characteristics of SGG SWISSPACER V, higher temperatures are maintained at the edges of glass panes - significantly reducing the risk of condensation forming. This, in turn, reduces the build-up of harmful mould and mildew on the window. Higher temperatures at the edge of the pane also mean less cold radiation, ensuring more comfort inside and a healthy indoor climate.
