Delivery and Returns

**Closure Dates for the Christmas Break (20th/Dec/2024 – 2nd/Jan/2025)**

As we approach the end of the year, please keep the following important dates in mind:

Friday, December 20, 2024:

  • This will be the last day for dispatch before our Christmas closure. Make sure to place your orders by 2pm!

Friday, December 27, 2024:

  • Our trade counter will be open until 12:00pm, we will be operating with a limited service.

Thursday, January 2, 2025:

  • Normal service will resume on this date.

Please note: Orders placed during the break period will likely be dispatched after normal services are restored. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday season!



Damages

By ordering with The Wholesale Glass Company you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. Damaged goods should be rejected or refused. If you notice damage after goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. The Wholesale Glass Company does not accept damage liability for issues reported over 7 working days from the point of delivery.

You can report damage by sending your order details and images of any issues to info@wholesaleglasscompany.co.uk or call 0208 664 3768 and one of our team will assist you.

Missing delivery items


By ordering with The Wholesale Glass Company, you agree to inspect goods upon delivery. If you notice part of your delivery is missing after goods are delivered, you must report this to us within 48 hours of delivery. The Wholesale Glass Company does not accept liability for issues reported over 7 working days from the point of delivery.

Returns

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 28 working days (not including weekends or bank holidays) for a full refund on the goods, not including the postage. Click-here to download the returns form.

Before returning any goods for any reason, please contact us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you and inform us, of the reason for the return.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover the value of the goods. This policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example if goods are faulty or damaged.

Any goods returned should be in a saleable condition as sold to you(customer), with all the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.

These terms apply to every order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affects your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

For the avoidance of doubt, all returned items will be inspected before any refund or replacement will be issued. The Wholesale Glass Company reserves the right to reject returns if the parcel is not in a suitable condition. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure unwanted returns arrive at our warehouse in a suitable condition.

Please be aware that any unwanted returns of heavy or bulky products delivered on a pallet will incur a restock charge equivalent to our couriers’ cost of shipping the plate including any surcharges incurred.  

Refunds

All refunds will be issued to the payment method used on your original order. Please allow up to 10 working days for the payment to process once the refund has been received.

If a returned item(s) needs to be repaired, repackaged or missing components and accessories, in rear circumstance, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee.

Delivery Information

Our carriers do not delivery on bank hoildays, all deliveries are subject to stock and availability.

UK Mainland (England, Scotland, Wales)
**Next Day Cut Off;
2:30pm for orders with lengthy (over 1.2 meters) or heavy items.

3:00pm for all other orders.

Please call for clarification or for more information.

Orders processed after 3:00pm using the next day service option cannot be guaranteed.

All UK Mainland orders excluding lengthy items qualify for FREE delivery* when you spend over £125 ex VAT.

All UK Mainland orders including lengthy items qualify for FREE delivery* when you spend over £150 ex VAT.

Because our products vary in size and weight, consignments will be delivered by either DPD, Parcelforce or Tuffnells.

Please note that orders placed on a Friday after 3:00pm for next day delivery will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday.

Saturday Deliveries

This service is only available for mainland UK, however cannot be guaranteed at the moment.

Please note Saturday deliveries do not include orders that are made on Saturdays. Saturday orders should be made by Friday before 3:30pm.

We ask that you contact us in advance of placing the order for our team to check stock and availability, however, we will contact you as soon as your order is picked up on the system.

Outside UK Mainland (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands/Highlands, Isle of Man/Wight)

A next day service is available to Northern Ireland. The average lead-time is 2 working days for the rest of the areas.
